Partner Country Profile¶
The profile is the complete record for one partner country: every indicator and sub-component it reported, the average for its income group alongside, and how it has moved across monitoring rounds.
Use it to look a single figure up. To read a country's results as a whole, start with the Deep Dive.
Finding a country¶
Choose Partner Country on the toggle, then pick from the dropdown. The region filter beside it narrows the list.
What the page holds¶
A summary at the top — the country's income group and region, how many development partners reported there, and how much of the framework it reported on.
The four dimensions, each with its own score and the income group average beside it.
Every indicator, grouped by dimension and component. Each row carries:
- the current result, with its colour band
- the previous round's result where one exists, so you can see the direction of travel
- the average for the country's income group, marked on the bar
Sub-components are shown beneath the indicators they belong to, so you can see what a composite is made of and which part is pulling it up or down.
A trajectory chart for the measures with a long enough history, going back through earlier rounds to the Paris Declaration surveys where comparable.
Measures that need more than a number¶
Some measures are reported as words, and the profile shows them that way:

The button above the profile opens the country's Country Results Brief — the Secretariat's PDF summary of its 2023–2026 results, published on effectivecooperation.org. Where the brief is also published in French or Spanish, a second button beneath it, tagged with the language, opens that version; if the portal is being read in French or Spanish, the brief in that language takes the main button and English moves beneath.
Common questions¶
Why does a row show a dash? Nothing was reported for that measure. It is not a score of zero, and it is left out of every average rather than counted as a failure.
Why do some rows have no previous-round figure? Either the country did not take part in the previous round, or the measure was introduced or redefined since. Dimensions 1, 3 and 4 entered the framework in the current cycle and have no comparable earlier reading.
Why is my country compared against its income group rather than everyone? Because a fair comparison is with countries facing comparable circumstances. Setting a low-income country against a global average that includes upper-middle-income economies says more about the group than about the country.
Why does the PFM trend show no result for my country? It compares the two most recent PEFA assessments. Where only one assessment exists, there is no direction of travel to report — this is the case for 17 of the 44 countries.
Is the country's score out of the whole framework? No. The coverage figure at the top shows how many indicators the country has data for, which is a measure of how much was reported, not of performance.
